We had a great turnout with nine shooters even with Camp Perry going on. We spoke again about having a vintage military rifle match on Sept 22 nd at the last match of the year. This will be for Springfields, Garands, M1As; please drop me a line with suggestions for course of fire. We should be able to work it in before the end of the year.

Congratulations to Chris Bicking who took the Expert class along with the overall match winner with a score of 578-12x on a 600 aggregate match, that's some excellent shooting. Nikolas Taylor took the Master class, Chris Bicking took the Expert class, Don Keziah the Sharpshooter class, and Jeffrey Neal took the Marksman class; great shooting fellers, congratulations!

Jeff Neal took the 20 round any rifle/any sight fun match at the end of the High Power match. He once again showed us how to eat the center out of the target! I was impressed! Mirage can sure be a butt kicker! Be sure to keep this match in mind and come on out for next month's match. So come on out, get in on the fun while you can. See you then, and remember, keep your powder dry!
