Hot weather, plenty of shooters, and the High Power gang got ‘ er done!   We had twelve shooters for this match and had to run two relays.   Luther and Susan Edwards came down from Christiansburg , Virginia to shoot with us, thanks for coming, we were glad to have you – Semper Fi .

Congratulations to Steven Lunsford Jr. who took the High Master class along with the overall match winner with a score of 577-7x on a 600 aggregate match, that's some excellent shooting.   Luther Edwards took the Master class, Barry Postell took the Expert class, Don Keziah the Sharpshooter class, and Michael Canup took the Marksman class; great shooting fellers, congratulations!  

Steven Lunsford Jr. spanked our butts in the 20 round any rifle/any sight fun match at the end of the High Power match.   He took a .308 and ate the center out of the target with a score of 200-16x, I am impressed!   Poor Mr. Brian “Spoon” Witherspoon couldn't make it this match due to a boxing match with some of his custom hand loads.   Of course, it did improve his looks quite a bit though. Be sure to keep this match in mind and come on out for next month's match.   So come on out, get in on the fun while you can. See you then, and remember, keep your powder dry!
