This has been a popular yearly match, and we hope to improve on it this year. We’ll be shooting antique military rifles, from World War II and earlier. There will also be side matches for 1911 pistols and for government issue .22 training rifles. The Military Muzzleloader Match will return, and new for this event, we’ll also have a fun side match for Modern Military Arms.

Fun, enthusiasm and education is the intent of this event; the antique rifles will be on display, and many will be available for shooting for those that are interested.  A good meal will be served afterward, with donations helping to pay for the recent security measures installed at the gun club.

The High Power Match will be open to all “as issued” military rifles, open sights, designed prior to 1946 and issued prior to 1956. The course of fire will be 10 shots standing, slow fire, and 10 shots prone, rapid fire. Targets will be the SR-1 200 yd reduced target for firing at 100 yds.

The side matches will be open for all 1911 45 ACP pistols, and to government issue .22 training rifles of any country. The Muzzleloader Match will be open to all period correct muzzleloaders from conflicts including and predating the American Civil War. The Fun Match for Modern guns will allow modern, AR and other countries military based rifles to shoot.

Match details are available on the web site. Entry Fee will be $10.00 for one match, and another $10 to shoot as many additional matches as you wish.
