100 yd Rimfire Smallbore Competitions
November 13, 2011

Conditions were pretty decent, but chilly, and with a bit of variable wind just to make things interesting!

The match was great fun, and some really good shooting was observed.  Here are the results for the various categories.

Congratulations to John Rundell for his fine 98-7X with his Marlin 917.  Only 3 match shots outside the X-ring!

A super score for Terry Schilson with his CZ 453 in the competitive .22 Telescopic category!  Wind is the killer for the slow .22 rimfires, and a score of 98 in the wind is top notch.  Only 1 point, and a few “X’s” separated the first 5 places in this match!

In the .22 Open Sight category, Berry Williams smoked everyone, shooting a borrowed CZ452 Military Trainer with factory Tangent open sights!  If you think 100 yards with an open sighted .22 is easy- you probably haven’t tried it!
