Selected course of fire is
shot on Tuesday evenings from 5:00 pm on.
Targets are scored at the end of the segment and results are posted.
Starting Tuesday, May 20th, Shutzen Verein will commence a NINE week match. The match will run from May 20th to July 15th. Every Tuesday the match will be held between the hours of 5 to 8pm on Pistol Bay One.
Competition:
The competitors will be allowed to use ANY RIMFIRE RIFLE. The shooters will be divided into two categories, Scoped and Iron Sighted.
Price:
The price is $10 for the entire match. $5 per additional rifle.
Course of Fire:
The targets will be Freds 'Quick n' Dirty AQT' (Army Qualification Test). There will be Four Stages of fire, consisting of ten minutes to fire ten shots per stage. The targets will be set up at a distance of 25 Meters(27 yards or 82 feet). The targets will simulate torso and head silhouettes at the distances of 100 yards, 200 yards, 300 yards, and 400 yards.
Stage One :
Ten shots in ten minutes, from Standing Position.
Simulated 100 yard target.
Stage Two :
Ten shots in ten minutes, from a Kneeling or Sitting Position.
Simulated 200 yard target.
Stage Three :
Ten shots in ten minutes, from Prone Position.
Simulated 300 yard target.
Stage Four :
Ten shots in ten minutes, from Prone Position.
Simulated 400 yard target.
Slings are allowed on ALL stages.
Scoring:
There will be nine matches. Of these nine matches, your best six will be compiled for a single total score. Ties will be seperated by total amount of V's hit.
Awards:
To be decided upon. I'm thinking 'Honest-To-God' Trophies... instead of paper slips.
