Well we had great weather, eight shooters, and the High Power was slingin’ lead! We finally got our act together with new target frames and fresh target backers.   We spoke about possibly having a vintage military rifle match before the year is out ( Springfields, Garands, M1As); drop me a line and let me know what you think.   If we get enough interest, we’ll work it in before the end of the year.

Congratulations to Vince Davis who took the High Master class along with the overall match winner with a score of 778-24x on a 800 aggregate match, that’s some excellent shooting.   Nikolas Taylor took the Master class, Barry Postell took the Expert class, Don Keziah the Sharpshooter class, and Ken Paige took the Marksman class; great shooting fellers, congratulations!  

Jeff Neal took the 20 round any rifle/any sight fun match at the end of the High Power match.   He took a brand spanking new 6.5-284 that he had just put together and showed us how to eat the center out of the target! I was impressed!   Be sure to keep this match in mind and come on out for next month’s match.  So come on out, get in on the fun while you can. See you then, and remember, keep your powder dry!
